Launching: Utah Disability Digital Museum

On our website, you’ll notice a new option in our top menu — the “Digital Museum.” We have been working for the past couple of years to digitize our archives and make our memories available to the public. This upcoming week, on August 18th, we will be hosting an Oral History Night on Facebook Live (6 pm) to showcase the photos and videos that we have preserved.

In addition to uploading our photo and video archives to the website, we recently filmed oral history interviews with long-time Utah disability activists. You can view those interviews on our website, alongside a 20-minute documentary piece that showcases some of the most interesting content from each interview.

To view the new site, visit https://www.utahdisabilitymuseum.org/

To join us for our Oral History Night on Wednesday, August 18th at 6 pm, visit our event page on Facebook.

We can’t wait to see you there!
